Internship Opportunities for Students
STRIVE ENGINEERING GROUP’s internship program is designed for college juniors and seniors pursuing Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering degrees, who are looking to gain valuable structural and civil engineering industry experience.

LOCATION: MIDTOWN ATLANTA
PROGRAM DATES: MAY - AUGUST 2023
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct thorough design calculations, including load calculations as per IBC, ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, and NDS standards.
Conduct on-site inspections and evaluations.
Coordinate Revit/BIM360 models.
Collaborate with licensed professional engineers on various projects across the country.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate should possess a sound technical background, strong communication skills, and a passion for designing great structures.
A BS degree in Civil Engineering or completion of at least 24 hours of engineering coursework toward a BS in Civil Engineering (with a focus on Steel, Concrete, and Wood Design) is required.
Proficiency in AutoDesk Revit and AutoCAD is a must.
The candidate should be accepted into or planning to apply for a graduate program in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
EIT certification is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
The candidate should have a flexible schedule and be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

ROLE: Structural Designer (FT/PT)
STRIVE ENGINEERING GROUP, INC. is seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience utilizing Revit and AutoCAD, as well as experience in the building design field. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills. This is a fully remote position, with both full-time and part-time options available.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to create detailed and accurate drawings of building structures.
Collaborate with the design team to ensure drawings align with project specifications.
Communicate effectively with clients throughout the drafting process.
Continuously improve drafting skills and knowledge of industry best practices.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all drafting projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1-3 years of experience with Revit Modeling & AutoCAD Software.
Microsoft Suites.
BIM360 Experience (Preferred).
Experience in the building design & Telecommunication field.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
