Urban League of Greater Miami

SE Group provided structural engineering services for renovations to the Urban League of Greater Miami facility. The project involved structural evaluation of the existing building and the preparation of structural construction documents to support interior modifications and improvements to the community services facility.

Our scope included structural review of the existing framing systems and the design of localized structural modifications required to accommodate the proposed architectural and building system updates.

Structural details were developed for:

• New openings in existing framing
• Framing adjustments and anchorage associated with the renovation scope
• Integration of new structural elements with the existing building structure

The project required coordination with the design and construction teams to ensure structural integrity and constructability within the occupied facility. Structural design and documentation were prepared in accordance with the Florida Building Code and applicable ACI and AISC standards.
